I have been informed that software and system ‘MailChimp’, is used to send the newsletter and that data therefore has to be transmitted to this organisation.
The consent to receive a newsletter via e-mail can be revoked at any time. Each newsletter email contains a link with which you can unsubscribe.
Contact Form Completion
When completing any online contact form on any of the Crane Group Ltd company / brand websites (i.e. Crane Electronics Ltd, Industrial Measurements, Task Engineering Ltd) you are asked to agree to our privacy terms and conditions by ‘ticking’ your agreement. You are also given a choice to opt-in to receive future communications from Crane Group Ltd, thereby giving your consent for Crane Group Ltd to record and store the submitted details, in line with the GDPR.
Completion of these forms, whether it be a request for product information, pricing or quotations, distributor information, general information enquiries or request for contact etc., all forms submit a number of different data which can include your forename, surname, company name, e-mail address and product/request information submitted.

The relevant social media buttons shown on each of the Crane Group Ltd websites (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn) are merely graphics which link to our Social Media profiles, they are also not so-called “social plugins”. If you do not use the buttons, then no information is sent to the respective providers and no cookies are set on your computer by these service providers.
As soon as you click on one of the buttons, you are forwarded to our social media profile with the respective provider; only then is data transferred to this provider.
